Anywager is a Chrome extension that highlights text on the web pages you visit when it matches a prediction market on Kalshi, and lets you trade that market from a tooltip. This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension handles and how it is used. It reflects the data disclosures published on our Chrome Web Store listing.
Information we handle
To provide its core functionality, Anywager handles the following categories of information:
- Website content — the text, images, sounds, videos, or hyperlinks on the pages you visit. The extension reads page content to detect phrases that correspond to a Kalshi prediction market so it can highlight them.
- Web history — the list of web pages you visit, as well as associated data such as the page title and time of visit.
- Location — region, IP address, GPS coordinates, or information about things near your device.
How we use your information
We use the information above solely to provide and improve the extension’s core features: scanning page content to find text that matches a Kalshi prediction market, highlighting that text, and displaying a tooltip that lets you trade the relevant market. We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to these features.
How we share your information
Consistent with the Chrome Web Store’s Limited Use requirements, we commit to the following:
- We do not sell your data to third parties, outside of approved use cases.
- We do not use or transfer your data for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose.
- We do not use or transfer your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
When you choose to place a trade, that trade is executed through Kalshi. Any information you share with Kalshi is governed by Kalshi’s own privacy policy and terms.
Data retention
Page content is processed to detect matches as you browse. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the features described above.
Your choices
You can stop all data collection at any time by removing the extension from Chrome. Visit chrome://extensions, find Anywager, and select Remove. You can also review and manage the extension’s permissions from that page.
Children’s privacy
Anywager is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Trading on Kalshi is subject to Kalshi’s own eligibility requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
